　　In 2014, Liteng Education entered Shanghai and joined forces with Perkiomen School which is ranking Niche A+ in the United States, to establish Shanghai Leighton School (SLS). Since its establishment, our school has provided high-quality college preparation courses, and in the past ten years, our graduates have successfully entered the world's top comprehensive universities and the world's top five art universities, and our eight graduates totally have won more than $6 million in scholarships from the world's top universities, including American universities.Our school has a team of high-quality and experienced teachers to provide students with "whole-person education", empowering graduates to become global talents, so that children can go from "ordinary" to "extraordinary", from "good" to "excellent" through the next few years of study and life in SLS, no matter what growth path they choose!

　　伯克曼学校于1875年建校，占地面积172英亩，位于宾州费城临近小镇的郊区，是一所混合制寄宿学校。Niche排名A+类院校，全美私立高中排名前17%。我校是美国伯克曼学校开设的海外唯一直属分校。
　　Founded in 1875, Perkioman School is a 172-acre mixed boarding school located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Niche is ranked as an A+ institution and ranks in the top 17% of private high schools in the United States. Our school is the only overseas branch of Perkioman School all around the world.

　　Shanghai Leighton School has an excellent faculty team. Our school adopts the American principal responsibility system, with up to 80% of foreign teachers in the entire school and an immersive English environment. It is a pure American high school. All teachers in our school educate children from all aspects such as ideology, physique, and character. By providing high-quality university preparatory courses, we encourage students to use their imagination and creatively think about the world in their future careers. 　　Our school adopts the educational philosophy of "Understanding by Design® (UbD)." The highlight of this teaching approach lies in "learning by designing, and understanding through the process." Students are encouraged to explain their comprehension of knowledge, interpret its deeper meanings, and demonstrate the ability to view the world from diverse perspectives. They are also expected to apply what they have learned to various new contexts, fostering a habit of critical thinking in a way that is both profound and accessible. This learning method serves as a lifelong tool for understanding the world, benefiting students throughout their lives.

　　在UbD理念统一教学思想下，AA作业是我们每个学生每学期必须完成的课题制作业，占GPA比重高达60%。学生利用AA课题作业、根据自己的特长与心得，将所学知识与现实世界相连接，通过各种方式（论文、PPT、演讲、板报、视频、绘画等），向外界展示自身真实知识体系与理解应用层次。老师则根据学生AA作业的表现形式，逻辑性、合理性、学术性等不同维度，进行剖析与打分，实现真正的个性化、精英化评估。

　　Under the unified teaching philosophy of UbD, the AA project is a mandatory assignment for every student each semester, accounting for up to 60% of their GPA. Through the AA project, students connect their acquired knowledge with the real world based on their strengths and insights. They showcase their genuine understanding and application of knowledge through various formats such as essays, PowerPoint presentations, speeches, posters, videos, and artwork. Teachers then evaluate and grade the AA projects based on multiple dimensions, including presentation, logical coherence, rationality, and academic rigor. This approach ensures a truly personalized and elite assessment, tailored to each student's unique abilities and achievements.

　　美高课程体系

　　我校引入美国高中4年制完整教学体系，包含美国高中基础课程、美国高中荣誉课程、AP课程和项目制研修课题。学生足不出户，即可体验美国本土原汁原味的私立寄宿制高中教学精华。

　　我校开设80+门课，包括语言类（英语和小语种），数学、科学、社会科学、体育和艺术类。每位学生在满足一定数量必修通识全人学分课程的基础上，可以根据自身爱好与未来大学报考方向以及职业规划，自由选择我校开设的其他课程。励滕对学生选课门数不设上限，尊重每位学生的兴趣爱好，可以在我校修习任意已经开设的课程。

　　Our school has introduced a comprehensive four-year American high school curriculum system, which includes foundational courses, honors courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and project-based research topics. Students can experience the essence of a private American boarding high school education without leaving the country. Our school offers over 80 courses spanning a wide range of disciplines, including languages (English and other foreign languages), social studies, sciences, mathematics, IT, and the arts. Each student is required to complete a certain number of compulsory general education credits. Beyond this foundation, students are free to choose additional courses based on their interests and future college aspirations. In principle, we do not set a limit on the number of courses a student can take. As long as a student is passionate about learning, they are welcome to enroll in any of the courses we offer. After all, there’s no harm in mastering a wide range of skills.

　　精英化小班化授课

　　我校实行精英化小班制，教学班级为20人一班，每堂课50分钟。教学过程中老师可以掌控每一个学生的学习状态并针对性进行难点、疑点剖析。课下学生可以提前预约，找老师进行单独辅导，查缺补漏。主动教学与客观反馈并行，紧紧抓住每一个学生的特点，实现励滕主张的个性化、精英化教学目的。

　　Our school maintains small class sizes of 20 students per class, with each session lasting 50 minutes. This setup allows teachers to closely monitor the learning progress of every student and address specific challenges or areas of confusion with targeted guidance. Outside of class, students can schedule one-on-one tutoring sessions with teachers to reinforce their understanding and address any gaps in their knowledge. By combining proactive teaching with objective feedback, we tailor our approach to each student's unique needs, ensuring a personalized and elite educational experience that brings out the best in every individual.

　　Our school utilizes the Alma academic management system, a platform widely adopted by high schools across the United States. This system supports three-way access, allowing teachers, students, and parents to monitor daily learning progress and performance anytime, anywhere, via computer or mobile devices. In the event of special circumstances, such as a pandemic, our school can seamlessly transition between online and offline teaching modes. Our faculty and administrative team are committed to maintaining the highest standards of educational quality. The curriculum from the Perkiomen School and the transcripts generated by the Alma system are fully recognized by universities worldwide. A high-value, universally trusted transcript significantly enhances a student's college application. 　　Our school operates under a four-house system and holds annual elections for the Leighton Student Council. 　　Since its founding, Li Teng Berkman Schools, both in the United States and its branch campuses, have nurtured numerous outstanding graduates.
